I am so glad you have found me. My name is Lucero Marin Lee and I have been teaching art to students of all ages for 16 years.
My students range in age from 7 to 76.
I teach the basic principles of art and then help my students to explore their passions. My main goal is that my students discover the joy art and learn to express what is inside of them.
Students learn principles in a group setting and then work on personal projects guided by me in my studio.
This student started with me when she was young. She continued to take classes for years and now as a senior in high school. she s a seasoned artist with a personal style She is proficient in oils, drawing and digital art.
This adult student came to me with no experience in drawing portraits from sight. For years, she had meticulously recreated photos using a grid but had never tried to free-hand draw a face.
This is her progress in only a few months. The first drawing is the face she drew on Day 1. The second is a few weeks lager. Then, her masterpiece. Honestly, if I had not watched her draw the last portrait during class, I might not have believed her progress myself.
